I have a Z620 v2 that I am running Kali on, but I discovered that it would make a kick ass gaming machine with the way I have it configured. Initially I tried to use some EVO 860s in it but the BIOS would not see these drives and I had to go with some spinners I had. In fact it would not see any other SSDs I tried either. I tried a Micron and a WD. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a trick to getting SSDs to be recognized?
Thanks!
Hicks

Re: Z620V2 and SSDs
In your bios what do you have Sata operation mode set to? Should be in ahci. And you should be in UEFI non legacy.CplHicks24 wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 3:52 pm Hopefully somebody out there has the same issue.
