Z600 Adding 4 up PCIe to NVME Adapter

Hi All,

Has anyone tried adding a 4 up PCIe to NVME M.2adapter to one of the PCIe x 16 slots on a Z600?

I already have a 500GB NVME M.2 adapter fitter to a PCIe 4/8 slot, but I believe this would be a good way to add fast storage if it works.

I have a 1060 mini in one of the PCIe slots already, but there should be room and sufficient ventilation if the graphics card is moved to the slot nearest the PSU.

This is the card I'm considering

Your comments and advice would be appreciated. I realise the PCIe slots are only Gen 2.

For reference I have a 96GB system with a 500gb partitioned SSD boot drive, a 500gb NVME drive, and a 2TB Sata drive and a 1TB sata drive

The only thing that would prevent it from working is it the bios doesn't have bifurcation enabled. Allowing more than 1 device to work in each slot. I do this in my newer Dell. But don't have any experience with an older HP. So search for HP z600 bifurcation and see what you come up with.
