Hey all!
I got my T7910 w/256GB and 72 total cores. However, I am unable to see anything attached to ports 2 and 3. Ports 0 and 1 have two 4TB drives for a LVM of 7.2 TB, and the spare sata has my old 4TB SSD.
What should I be looking for in the bios to check about those ports? I did open up the box and that side and it seems those ports are connected. (Opening that is also how I got the 4TB SSD installed to the sata port.)
Very respectfully,
James

Re: Dell T7910 last SAS Ports 2 and 3
Hello there,
Sorry for the late reply. While I don't have an exact answer to your question, but have you tried a 3rd party SAS card or swap the cables to see if there is a connection issue?
On the 7600, there were issues I've experienced where the onboard SAS ports would randomly freeze in both Windows and Linux, but using a adaptec card the problem was gone.
I would also suggest asking your question over on the greenpcgamers Discord as well.

I appreciate the response. I am considering the use of an adapter card.
