Z840 MS Drivers

Post by g0tht3ch »

Hi

Random question - I'm on Win 10, and my system is running fine, but Windows 10 update is saying there are some optional updates....

If I look in Device Manager a lot of the listed optional driver devices show dates from 1968 (!)

i.e.:
System Devices > Intel(R) Xeon(R) E7 v3/Xeon(R) E5 v3/Core i7 Unicast Registers - 2FE5

Driver version 10.1.2.86 - allegedly from 18/07/1968

What are you guys seeing?
From the MS update site, it seems to be "recent" (i.e. latest) but I can see (at the bottom of https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.co ... eon%202FE5) a 10.1.3.1 - which I would assume would be newer?

Sorry for the late reply, it may be possible that the driver that was added may have been given a wrong creation date, like from a PC that was, in itself, no set correctly, etc. If the driver in question can be updated, it may have been just a possible fluke.
